Following the passing of Jo\u00e3o Mantovani, the company, which maintained its corporate name, became wholly owned by the Pedro family, changing its image to Mantovani in 2006.
\nThe Company transformed into a public limited company (sociedade an\u00f3nima), with all shareholders being children and grandchildren of this founding partner. Currently, the fourth generation already works in the Company, ensuring the continuity of the family management, believing it to be one of the pillars of its success. Over the years, Pedro & Mantovani, S.A.’s activity expanded into the area of construction materials, closing the tile factory in 1988 to specialize in wholesale and retail trade.
\nThe entire philosophy of the Company is customer-centric, focusing on providing excellent service, investing in quality products across various ranges and prices, and offering good pre- and post-sales support.
\nSince 2008, the PME L\u00edder (SME Leader) status has been awarded annually.
